• 1. Japan 1931- Invaded Manchuria for resources
• 2. Japan 1937- Attacked China
• 3. Italy 1935- Invaded Ethiopia to gain a colony.
  
• 4. Spanish Civil War-Mussolini and Hitler
  supported a fascist leaders rise to power.

German Aggression

• Adolf Hitler ignored the Treaty of Versailles and
  began building up his army.
• Austria was the first country that Hitler annexed
  into Germany.
• Czechoslovakia was next as Hitler demanded that
  he take Western Czechoslovakia.
• The British response was appeasement.
