Objectives

• To be aware of new features in PowerPoint
• To customise your presentation for a different
  audience

Master Slide

• The Master Slide can be used to add pictures or
  text you want on every slide e.g. your name. It
  has been used in this presentation to add the
  school logo at the bottom of every slide.
• To use master style, go to View menu gt Master gt
  Slide Master. Add the features you want on every
  slide. Click on Close Master Slide when you have
  finished.

Hyperlinks

• Hyperlinks are website links.
• To create a hyperlink in your presentation, first
  write some appropriate text e.g. click here for
  school website
• Highlight the text. Go to the menu and choose
  Insert gt Hyperlink.
• Type in the URL (dont forget the http//) of the
  website or you can choose a slide or document to
  go to.

Animation

• Animation can be used to emphasise certain parts
  of the presentation and make it interesting.
• You can choose animation from the Slideshow gt
  Custom Animation menu.
• Remember Animation loses its fun effect if you
  use too much of it!
