• Pray that the violence stops
• Pray for families who have fled and have no home
• Give thanks for churches who are helping refugees
• Pray for enough food, water and medicine
• Pray for the protection of the vulnerable
• Pray for those who have been attacked
• Pray for those who have lost friends, family and
  loved ones

LEADERS

• Pray for IS - we pray for those who persecute us
• Pray IS will have their eyes opened by God to
  their actions and to the gospel
• Pray for Iraqi government, for wisdom and
  strength
• Pray for international community, for wisdom in
  how to respond to this crisis
• Pray church leaders will comfort, strengthen and
  lead people in love, not hate

THE CHURCH

• Pray for the preservation of the Church
• Pray Christians will unite and pray for the
  future of Iraq
• Give thanks for the support they are receiving
• Praise God for the opportunity the Church has to
  show love to those suffering
• Give Iraqi Christians strength to keep their
  faith
• Pray for those working in the country for
  protection and coordination in the relief work
