About Leading Concepts
Leading Concept was established back in 1993 as
an organization dedicated in teaching Teamwork,
leadership and communication skills. Our military
background offers framework to bring specialized
military leadership training to civilians teams
and team leaders. We offers training which is
primarily outdoors and learning by doing. We know
what it takes to lead and manage an elite
military team on successful missions against
seemingly overwhelming odds and weve been
teaching these secrets to corporate leaders for
over 20 years.
History
Leading Concepts as an organization dates back to
1994 when we began training executives on the
leadership skills we had learned in the U.S.
military. The founders of Leading Concepts trace
their experience back to their training in the
military as U.S. Army Rangers who had to
parachute into Panama to topple a dictator. We
realized then what we know now if used properly
the lessons we learned as part of an elite
military team could be put to use in Any team
leadership experience to enable that team to
reach its objectives faster and more effectively.

  days, offsite, and intense! Ranger Team
  leadership is our core workshop. This course is
  conducted off-site where the 300-acre classroom
  is demanding, challenging, and intentionally
  remote.

2015 Leadership Team Development Workshop

• The Ranger Leadership development workshop is our
  Leadership development workshop. The Ranger
  Leadership Course gives civilians the experience
  of leading their own platoon on missions (this
  is a simulation, there is no hunting or survival
  training). There is the experience of simulating
  an Army Ranger mission and leading a group of
  colleagues and/or strangers in tasks that most
  civilians will never experience.
• In this course, you will be outside your comfort
  zone and spend most of time in the field. While
  most leadership workshops take place in
  classrooms. The Ranger Leadership course is
  based primarily outdoors either at Kentucky /
  Indiana or your location.

Cost depends on the type of training course and
if the participant is a solo student or part of a
group. In either case the cost of the training
is much less than equivalent training at a
graduate business school. In fact, many of our
courses cost less than individual courses at the

training at Leading Concepts? A The training at
Leading Concepts is unique and special in several
ways. First, you are Not going to sit in a
classroom listening to a boring lecture about
leadership. Instead you are going to take part
in leadership activities and hone your leadership
skills while also experiencing something out of
the ordinary for most civilians. In most of our
classes you are going to be simulating a military
unit taking part in a patrol, mission, or series
of missions.

  scholarship
• Individual and organizational.
• Individual Leadership Training Scholarship We
  provide full tuition for qualified individuals to
  attend our core Ranger Leadership Course. Our
  leadership courses are totally unique leadership
  immersion workshop experiences that provide a
  fun way to learn team leadership skills in a
  short amount of time. During the course you will
  learn and master our time-tested TLC (Teamwork,
  Leadership, Communication) method of leading
  elite teams. You will alternate by being a member
  of a team and learning to lead the team on
  missions.
• This scholarship is open to anyone who meets
  these criteria
• 18 Years old or older
• U.S. Citizen
• Physically fit and able
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Able to pay for your transport to/from the course
  in Kentucky
• No criminal record
• High School or college graduate
