Reducing Quorum Requirements

• Improve Efficiency of Committee Meetings
• Enable committees to begin meetings with two
  members present
• Allow for public comment
• Allow for approval of minutes, information items,
  receipt of commission reports

• Recommendation
• 1. Find that the proposed action is not a project
  subject to the California Environmental Quality
  Act (CEQA) as defined in Public Resources Code
  Section 21065 and Section 15378 of the State CEQA
  Guidelines.
• 2. Conduct first reading of the ordinance
  amending Pasadena Municipal Code Chapter 2.05 -
  City Council to modify the quorum requirement for
  all standing Council subcommittee to two members.
