• Open to all Lake Zurich students Kindergarten
• through Eighth grade

• - LZHS Tech Club and their robots
• - Local First LEGO team
• - Lake Zurich Rocket Team

So why participate in the Science Fair? Our
Goals

• By participating in the science fair you will
  
• Conduct independent research and answer your own
  questions
• Create informational displays
• Gain self-confidence and public speaking
  experience
• Record data and write an experimental
  procedure correctly
• Utilize the scientific method and become more
  science literate
• Learn more about science and understand that the
  Science Fair is FUN!
• In addition, a science project will help you to
  learn much more
• about a subject that interests you as well as
  some important
• practical skills such as
• Working across the curriculum enhancing writing,
  mathematical and analytical skills
• Work towards a deadline
• Carry an idea through from beginning
  to end

• Registration fee 15.00
• Scholarships are available

• Each additional registrant will pay 10.00
