• It helps you know what you need to do.
• It helps you to check how well you are doing
• This toolkit is in two parts

toolkit

• It is for Partnership Boards to help make the
  lives of people with learning disabilities from
  an ethnic minority background better.

• It tells them what Valuing People says (the
  plan)
• It tells them about the Disability Discrimination
  Act 1995 and the Race Relations Amendment Act
  2000 (the laws)

• It tells Partnership Boards how to do plans
  called equality schemes.
• It says that Boards should also look at Learning
  Difficulties and Ethnicity A Framework for
  Action
