• Organisational politics are more important that
  rationality
• Important to get backing from senior managers
  but dont use too much energy seeking permission
  or agreement
• Create a prototype and get around the
  organisation, in order to sell it
• Learning and development projects can use ICT
  but they are not ICT projects so dont let (or
  ask) the IT people to run them
• As soon as you are successful, others want a
  piece of the action so know when to hang on
  and when to let go
