• Volo Bog is so acidic that it can support
  Sphagnum Moss
• Volo Bog has a pad-like surface
• The acid conditions support a variety of plants
  and animals

• Devils lake was formed by glaciation
• There are a LOT of creatures in Devils Lake
• There are potholes in Devils Lake

Sterling Lake

• The water here is not very sanitary
• Sand helps clean the water here
• The water at Sterling Lake is not acidic or
  basic its neutral

Wright Woods

• The water quality here is poor
• A variety of creatures who are tolerant to
  pollution live here
• Lake County Forest Preserves are helping to
  clean the water at Wright Woods

  have used, and studied water in thousands of new
  ways. We have gone on explorations to find the
  pH, clarity, and temperature of different types
  and bodies of water. Through water we made
  connections to movies, life and more. In Camp,
  Water has helped us fuel our bodies to succeed in
  this extravagant
