1
Not Used Printer for months? Facing a Problem in
Running Printer Again? Heres all you Need to
Know
2
  • The majority of people who have computers at
their home also have a printer along.
  • When printers are not in use for a long time,
specific issues with printing may occur when you
    re-start it.
  • Our printer generally expects to print sharp,
clear images, but it does not provide the desired
    results.

3
What exactly happened?
  • Dirt could accumulate on print heads and nozzles
by leaving printers idle for months without
servicing or maintenance. Cartridges could be
clogged or dry, which can stop or reduce Epson
    Starfish Ink flow.

Can it be fixed?
  • According to the set-up and model of the printer,
print heads and cartridges can be made and
assembled inside the printer differently. Check
the user's manual or website for more specific
    directions.

4
What can we do?
  • Print Head Issues Open the top of your printer
and locate the cartridges and their positions
    along with the print head.
  • Take the cartridges off with care and be careful
not to get any chips connected to the printer.
  • Clean the print heads that have become highly
blocked, and then soak the nozzles in water to
    get them clean.
  • Be cautious when handling printing heads as they
are fragile. Avoid placing them against any
    surface which can damage them.

5
  • Let the head sit for a few hours, or even
overnight, and then dry it using a lint-free
cloth such as a microfiber cloth (there is likely
to be ink residue, so you should use an unused
    cloth).
  • Install the cartridges and print head. Then make
sure that the printer is cleaned the print head
before printing. This way, you can get back to
    your working printer.
  • Cartridge Issues Most people using printers
aren't aware that cartridges Xp 2105 Ink has an
expiration date, and they may dry out for the
    following reasons.
  •  The absence of usage for prolonged durations
  • Passing expiration dates
  • Storage in humid, hot regions (store in a dry,
    cool place)

6
  • If cartridges are dry, there's a chance that you
    can revive them
  • Use the printer's utility to clean the print
heads - they might need to be cleaned more than
    once.
  • If you can still resolve the issue, remove the
cartridge and place it in warm water. The ink can
stain surfaces or sinks, and using a bowl could
    be the best option.
  • For complex cases to resolve, use a cotton swab
to remove the ink nozzle until the ink appears
    gently.
  • Clean the cartridge with a lint-free cloth and
then put the cartridge back inside the printer.

7
How to Avoid these problems?
  • The easiest way to reduce this problem is to
switch on the printer and print a few copies of
    documents at frequent intervals.
  • Printing a few colouring pages can be an
intelligent method to ensure that every nozzle
    and cartridge runs smoothly.
  • It's necessary to maintain the printer regularly.
  • Ensure that dust doesn't build up on the printer
as it can cause problems in its working. Cleaning
the printer should involve using a small-sized
    vacuum to remove the dust.
  • It's a good idea to cover your printer whenever
you are not using it, to prevent dust from
    getting into it.
