1
High Protein Indian Vegetarian Food Sources are
Available in India for Beginner in Gym
  • Many people think that vegetarian food doesnt
have much protein, but this is not true. Some of
the protein-rich diets are lentils, nuts, dal
(pulses), soy, milk products (like cheese), and
other vegetables. Sprouts are also very high in
protein. That said, sometimes our body needs more
protein to recover from the gym workout and
exercise. This is why people also go for protein
    shakes and supplements.

  • Protein supplements, by themselves are not
harmful. It is always good to go with a brand
that you know and that is tested for quality.
Also, always buy from an authorized dealer. The
protein you select should suit your body. If you
are lactose intolerant, then dont select whey
protein or casein. If you are allergic to soy,
then avoid products having it. It is all about
making the right choice for ourselves. I suggest
you talk to a professional regarding the right
supplement for you and the amount of supplement
    you need.

  • Selecting the best protein powder for vegetarians
is not tough but you should read the products
well. Protein powders come from different sources
like plants, dairy (milk), meat, etc. Example
    MyProtein Vegan Protein, Oziva Plant-Based
Protein (Rice, Pea, Quinoa), NakPro Whey Protein,
    etc.
  • The Indian market is filled with flavoured
protein powders (chocolate, choco fudge, vanilla,
strawberry, etc.) as well as unflavoured protein
powders. The flavoured options contain artificial
colors and flavours and these are known as
additives. Some common additives are artificial
    colors, artificial flavours, artificial
    sweeteners (Erythritol, Acesulfame Potassium,
    Saccarin, Aspartame, Sucralose, etc.), Gums
    Thickeners, Vegetable Oils Fats, etc.
