  • Deadlines and criticalities
  • Conclusions

3
What it is
  • This report is the final document of the AlpCity
Project it summarises the project purposes and
records all the project outputs together with the
    results achieved.
  • It is addressed to
  • all the actors involved in the AlpCity Project
  • the supporting institutions and their monitoring
    bodies
  • external subjects interested in the experiment

4
Its function
  • It is the main tool for comparing results and
    initial objectives.
  • It is an assessment instrument to finally
evaluate the Project quality and effectiveness.
  • It is conceived as a bridge between the almost
concluded project and its potential prosecution
    and developments.

5
Its function
  • For these reasons it must be drafted as much
    accurately as possible.
  • All the Partners, the SSC Experts and the
consultants involved in the case studies are
invited to actively collaborate for this result.
  • Since there is only a draft any suggestion,
constructive criticism or proposal will be taken
    into a great consideration.

Deadlines Criticalities
  • The Project Final Report will be finalised by
the end of June in order to be revised and sent
to the graphic designer in July.
  • Since August is an holiday month, the Report
printing should start in September so to have the
output ready for the Final Conference (beginning
    of October 2006).
  • This means that we have still a three-week time
to work on the missing items and on the
finalisation. To this purpose I ask you for some
final rush collaborative efforts according to the
    following deadlines

MEETING BETWEEN THE ALPCITY CASE STUDIES AND
THE INNOREF SUB-PROJECT RECOVER 19th of April in
Venice FINAL MESSAGE The involved local
authorities (regions) should insert now in their
next Program documents the recommendations
emerged in their case studies underlining the
importance of such contributions for the regional
laws dealing with this topic.
62
Synergies
Part one.
  • Mr. Tyrkas provided us with two studies
including data, tables and maps available on line
    only in German
  • The first one deals with ecological and
    socio-economic requirements reflecting the
challenges of the Alpine Convention on the
population and culture topics (Prof. Bätzing)
  • The second one is a result of a case study
developed by an external expert of the
municipality of Grainau. It regards population
    decrease, socio-economic consequences, the job
market conditions and some conclusions for future
    activities.

63
Synergies
Part one.
  • As Mrs. Fourny-Kober will explain in few minutes
    there are other interesting projects
  • a statistical study developed by Rhône-Alpes
    Region
  • Some maps on the region organisation drafted by
    Franche-Comté Region
  • Some interesting statistics belonging to Austria
  • A study about rural and urban in Switzerland by
    M. Perlik
  • A study on metropolisation in Lombardy Region by
    G.P. Torricelli
