part originates from D-learning (distance
education). The rapid growth of information and
communication technologies make it possible to
develop new forms of this education. The

happens when the learner is not at a fixed

  of learning using technologies that are not at a
  fixed location.
• It extends the reach of e-learning and opens up
  more activities

of mobile technologies to support fieldwork in
active enquiry geography and the level H
futurist technologies module.   Sport - To
encourage children to self assess their physical
activity levels using an electronic platform.
Geography - Investigation into the potential
application of PDAs for fieldwork in geography.
