  • They may all co-exist. We dont know, which type
    will be dominant over the other, but time will
    tell.

  • Important for the user will be the ability to
    apply channels across multiple portals
    (interoperability)
  • There are many opportunities to share
    infrastructure that we should pursue as long as
  • individual institutions can still manage and
    brand their own (Library) Portal
