Lake Baikal environmental area

2Objectives
- consider environmental situation in Shelekhov
- calculate pollutants dispersion near Shelekhov
- assess possible contribution of emission from
Shelekhov enterprises to Lake Baikal surface
pollution.

9Conclusions
- we pointed out that Shelekhov is one of the most
air polluted towns in Russia - we presented environmental assessment results of
pollutants dispersion near Shelekhov - we evaluated possible contribution in pollution
of Baikal surface from Shelekhov industrial
enterprises and showed that polluting matters
reach the south Baikal areas in amounts rather
lower then limited
