  in the singular) any type of ruler other than God
  Himself (Eph. 121)

Who is GOG ?

• "The sudden appearance of "Gog" in the Ezekiel
  text, without any apparent background from other
  passages, has puzzled commentators for centuries.
  From the context, it is clearly the title of the
  leader of the people of the land of Magog. Still,
  it seems inconsistent with God's established
  style to have such a key figure emerge in the
  text without a linkage of some sort. There is,
  however, a provocative reference that has been
  widely overlooked in the Book of Amos. The
  traditional rendering of Amos 71 reads as
  follows "Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto
  me and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the
  beginning of the shooting up of the latter
  growth and, lo, it was the latter growth after
  the king's mowings."
• Our English Bible takes its translation from the
  Masoretic text, a 9th century source. However, an
  earlier translation of the Old Testament into
  Greek, known as the Septuagint, embodies a
  different rending of Amos 71 "Thus the Lord
  showed me, and behold a swarm of locusts were
  coming, and behold, one of the young devastating
  locusts was Gog, the King."
• The identification of Gog as the king of the
  locusts would have profound implications.
• Proverbs 3027 reveals that "the locusts have no
  king," implying that the "locusts" of Amos 7 are
  not intended to be natural locusts, but an idiom
  for something else. (demons ?)
• We encounter a similar passage in Revelation
  chapter 9 where locusts there are described as
  having a king, and so are clearly a demon host.

• The passage in Amos 71 suggests that Gog is the
  king of the demon locusts, and this would put an
  entirely new light on the Gog of Ezekiel 38 and
  39....."

The Land of Magog

• Magog --gt the Scythians --gt Russians
• Many ancient sources have clearly identified
  "Magog" as referring to the "Scythians" which
  were the ancestors of the Russians.
• The Moslems refer to Gog and Magog as Vadjudj wa
  madjudj in the Koran. Philo, a 1st century
  historian identifies Magog with southern Russia.
  The Great Wall of China, in an 8th century
  reference, was called Sud Yagog et Magog "The
  Rampart of Gog and Magog."
• In Ezekiel 3815, it says "And thou shalt come
  from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and
  many people with thee ..." The "north parts" is
  literally the "extreme, or uttermost" parts of
  the north.

The Allies of (Rosh) Russia

• The main ally listed is Persia. The
  identification of "Persia" includes the
  descendents of Elam, the 1st son of Shem and is
  the modern state of Iran, a key component in the
  jaw-hooks.
• Cush Ethiopia - This refers to the land south
  of Egypt, usually translated as Ethiopia.
  Originally Cush referred to a piece of territory
  lying between the 2nd and 3rd cataracts of the
  Nile.
• Phut (or Put) Libya - the 3rd son of Ham.
  Josephus identifies him as the founder of Libya.
  In a connotative sense, it is associated with
  "North Africa" populated by the Berbers and
  tribes distinct from Cush, and thus, reaches from
  Libya and Algeria to Tunisia and Morocco.

Rosh Chief of Meshech

• It has been said that the only prophecy in the
  Bible that invokes a modern Gentile power by name
  is found in Ezekiel 38 and 39. There, we find
  Russia, called "Rosh" in the Hebrew of the Old
  Testament. In the King James translation, its
  name is somewhat obscured, seen in the word,
  "chief (rahsh) in the following passage
• "And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
  "Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land
  of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal,
  and prophesy against him, "And say, Thus saith
  the Lord GOD Behold I am against thee, O Gog,
  the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal" (Ezkiel
  381-3).
• The Hebrew text of verse two, which actually
  reads, "prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal," kc,u
  lan atr thab nasieh rosh, meshech vtubal.
  "Rosh" is a place name, rather than a positional
  title. Today, any standard Hebrew text refers to
  Russia by using the proper noun, "Rosh." Many
  authorities add that Meshech and Tubal are the
  names of Scythian tribes, whose names have been
  standardized as modern place names. Meshech is
  Russias capital, Moscow. Therefore, Magog is
  Russia. Its prince and leader is Gog. Russia has
  dabbled with the extension of its power into the
  Middle East.

  thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land,
  (Air Force?) thou, and all thy bands, and many
  people with thee.

  thought (NUCLEAR?)
• 11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land
  of unwalled villages I will go to them that are

  without walls, (peace and safety) and having
  neither bars nor gates,
• 12 To take a spoil, (Land or Oil?) and to take
  a prey to turn thine hand upon the desolate
  places that are now inhabited, (Israel) and upon
  the people that are gathered out of the nations,
  which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in
  the midst of the land.

Ezekiel 38 13-16

• 13 Sheba, and Dedan, (Arabia) and the merchants
  of Tarshish, (West) with all the young lions
  thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to
  take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to
  take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to
  take away cattle and goods, to take a great
  spoil?
• 14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto
  Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD In that day when my
  people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not
  know it? (comprehensive multi-lateral peace)
• 15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of
  the north parts, (Uttermost part of North) thou,
  and many people with thee, all of them riding
  upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army
• 16 And thou shalt come up against my people of
  Israel, as a cloud to cover the land (Air
  Assault) it shall be in the latter days, and I
  will bring thee against my land, that the heathen
  may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee,
  O Gog, before their eyes.

Tarshish - Western Powers?

• Tarshish may be the biblical term for the West.
  Some have positively identified it as the modern
  city of Tortosa, on the Spanish east coast.
  Others have placed it as far north as the ancient
  seaport of Roman Londinium, todays London,
  England. However, it describes not a single
  location, but the Gentile merchant world outside
  ancient Israel.
• The merchants of Tarshish began as the ancient
  Phoenician traders, whose ships circled the
  Mediterranean and exited it through the Strait of
  Gibraltar, before sailing northward toward ports
  in the territory we now call Europe. They also
  sailed southward around Africas west coast, then
  around its southern cape, heading toward the
  ports of call in the east. Some sources say that
  they sailed as far west as the future territories
  of North and South America. These merchants were
  the early global traders. Tarshish has become the
  generic term for their trade in the world at
  large.
• Tarshish may represent the Great Merchants of the
  Earth (Revelation 18 Commercial Babylon)

Sheba and Dedan

• Sheba and Dedan have a specific reaction to the
  offensive from the north. Analyzing it closely
  reveals that it contains clues to the disposition
  of world powers.
• Sheba and Dedan react to the offensive, not with
  reprisals, but with a question
• " Art thou come to take a spoil? In other
  words, they question Gogs motives, and that of
  its allies. Perhaps through diplomatic channels,
  they inquire as to Russias intentions. They wish
  to know whether or not Gog desires to rob them of
  their riches. As we shall see, they are very rich.

A Conspicuously Absent Ally

• Syria, A Major Enemy of Israel Absent from
  Ezekiel 38 list
• Notice, Syria, an extremely anti-Semetic country
  is not listed in this battle. This may be because
  they have previously - by the time of the Magog
  Invasion - been dealt a blow. Such is described
  in Isaiah chapter 17, Jeremiah 4923-27 ...
• "The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is
  taken away from being a city, and it shall be a
  ruinous heap.... And behold at eveningtide
  trouble and before the morning he is not. This
  is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot
  of them that rob us." Isaiah 171, 14
• "Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to
  flee, and fear hath seized on her anguish and
  sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.
  How is the city of praise not left, the city of
  my joy!" Jeremiah 4924-25
• Damascus, the capital of Syria, is known to be
  the oldest continuously inhabited city in the
  world!... It has never yet been "taken away from
  being a city" ...
• Presently 24 terrorist organizations have their
  bases in Damascus. If Syria were fully functional
  when the Magog Invasion occurs, you can bet they
  would be in on any invasion of Israel. But God
  declares that Damascus will become a ruinous
  heap. This is yet future... and could be imminent
  as the Iraq-Terror war spills over.

The Burden of Damascus

• The Absence of Syria, Irans Present Axis of Evil
  Partner
• As the most striking point when reading the
  listing of the Ezekiel 38 Magog invasion
  coalition strike-force upon Israel, Syrias
  absence from the alliance means the Russian
  invasion is expressly pinpointed towards the
  mountains of Israel, which probably would include
  the contested Golan Heights. Syria and Israel
  have been locked in total disagreement about the
  possession of this very area ever since the 1973
  Yom Kippur War. Russia has traditionally
  supported Syrias claims to the Golans
  mountainous region. The absence of Syria in this
  coalition hints of a prior strategic exchange
  (with Israel ?)
• Damascus, the capitol city of Syria, is the
  international headquarters for virtually every
  Middle East terrorist organization. The absence
  of Syria from the Magog coalition indicates that
  the prophesied Burden of Damascus event is a
  sequence of events that prefigures the Magog
  invasion. It is highly likely, given the present
  geo-political world situation and the strategies
  involved in the American-led war on terror that
  Damascus will be devastated either by Israel, the
  US, or become victim to an international nuclear
  exchange, as the War on Terror proceeds.

The Iranian Revolution
It is important to remember that, until 1979,
not only was Iran a close ally of the United
States, it was also one of the most heavily
Westernized nations in the Islamic world. Then
with the Islamic revolution, Shah Pahlavi was
deposed, and the fanatical Islamic Mullahs came
to power, and Iran quickly became Americas worst
nightmare. Prophecy scholars should have taken
note of this amazing turnabout in Iran, for it
was the landmark event that laid the
geo-political foundation for Persia's inclusion
in Ezekiels Gog-Magog scenario. Prior to 1979,
it didn't seem to make any sense that a western
friendly Iran, could find itself part of a
Russian-led invasion on the mountains of Israel?
The greatest geo-political and diplomatic mistake
of modern American history was the disastrous
strategy decisions of the Jimmy Carter
administration, (with Zbigniev Brezinski
formulating foreign policy) when America stood by
and let Ayatollah Khomeini succeed in expelling
the American friendly Shah so that the radical
Khomeinin could return from exile and take Iran
in a headlong fundamentalist charge back to the
Quran-glorified 7th-century culture of the
Arabian Peninsula. This era of the Islamic
Revolution is what started the modern worldwide
Muslim fundamentalist revival that threatens the
security of the United States today, and gave
impetus to the Jihadist terrorist ideology!
Virtually all the terrorism in the world today
comes from the seeds of the ayatollah's demonic
inspiration. The prospect of these fanatical
Muslim fundamentalist zealots possessing
nuclear-tipped ballistic missiles should frighten
the entire Western world. It should drive us into
immediate action to prevent it at any costs. This
nuclear time bomb is already ticking and the
window of opportunity to intercept an Islamic
terror-holocaust is quickly closing. In the
interim, the US and Israel are squarely the
intended targets of Islamic terrorism. It is only
a matter of time until this bubble must burst.

Iran and the Axis of Evil

• Iran is a nation that figures prominently in the
  news these days. Three years ago (Sept. 2001)
  after the terrorist attacks upon America,
  President George Bush mentioned the nation of
  Iran and depicted it as being one of the
  notorious members of the now infamous Axis of
  Evil nations. Still, most people in the West
  know very little about Iran, and the vast
  majority of Americans are completely unaware of
  the history of the US relationship with Iran, and
  the fact that the region of Iran actually has had
  a long and significant role in world affairs.
• While Persia has had ties deeply rooted in
  world history, the direct American-Iranian
  relationship only commenced in the late 1930s.
  Persia joined the allied forces against Germany
  in 1943, and thus the World War II Mid-east
  theatre provided the stage that began the rather
  brief history of the US-Iranian relationship. It
  is a relationship that has also undergone a
  complete about face since the 1970s. Within the
  scope of this remarkable turn in geo-political
  affairs in the international relationship between
  Iran (Persia) and the United States are a host of
  highly significant factors relative to the
  prophesied signs of the times, and imminent world
  events in these Last Days.

The Evil Principality of Persia Arises Again
On November 4, 1979, some Iranian militants under
the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomenis direction seized
the US Embassy in Tehran, taking 52 American
hostages, and threatening them with death.
Khomeini refused all appeals, and instigated an
environment of hostility and war towards the
United States, calling America the Great Satan!
Iran, or Persia, has been in the center of an
unseen warfare from ancient times. Daniel was
highly favored of God and privileged to have God
pull back the curtain of history and time and
briefly expose Daniel to the wars that continue
in Heaven, and that still affect events on the
Earth. Daniel prayed for Divine insight into the
meaning of some prophecies God gave him about the
future of his people Israel. Daniels vision
reveals the fact that there are mighty fallen
angels and demons that influence earthly leaders.
And within God's permission, they even control
earthly dominions. The "Prince of Persia" was
able to hinder Gods archangel Gabriel. It was
only with the help of the archangel Michael that
Gabriel was able to subdue this hindrance.
Michael is the special guardian Prince of the
Israeli nation.

Is it possible for us to witness a world without

The Prince of Persias (Iran) Goal

• Irans former President Khatami flatly stated
  that Iran want nukes to destroy Israel. He
  insists that since Israel is such a small country
  that it cannot sustain a nuclear exchange with a
  much larger country and survive! He concludes
  that the intense collateral damage that may be
  suffered by Iran in a nuclear exchange with
  Israel is a price that Islam is willing to pay to
  exterminate Israel once and for all.

Russias Putin Warns US
Putin's Russia is arming Syria Iran, and
obstructing US efforts to get the Mullahs to stop
their nuclear ambitions. It is no surprise, since
Russia obstructed US efforts in Iraq, and the
Russian ambassador to Iraq passed on US war plans
to Saddam before the American invasion. Even more
disturbing is the fact that Russia was behind the
scenes moving the missing Iraqi WMDs out of Iraq
into Syria before the US invaded.

Russian Nuclear Roulette

• By using the Iranian nuclear wildcard, Putin is
  hoping to reduce Americas preeminent position in
  the Middle East, but it is a scheme that Bible
  Prophecy indicates could backfire on Russia, and
  end up with Iran and the Islamic world sinking
  its hooks in Russias jaws. Recently, Russia
  test-launched a missile system that allegedly can
  maneuver in mid-flight, allowing it to dodge
  defenses. The missile, said Putin renders any
  anti- missile system defenseless. Since then,
  Putin has advanced these new anti-defense
  missiles to arm Islamic terrorists, through the
  governments of Iran and Syria. He has also
  enabled Iran to develop nukes and the Shahab-4
  missile. Six years ago, President Bush met Putin
  for the first time, and told the world that he
  had looked into Putins eyes and found a good
  friend, and a man America could trust. Well,
  President Bush needs to take another look. Russia
  is on a fast track to being the Evil Empire
  again. Russias involvement in arming the Axis of
  Evil is preparatory work to destabilize the
  region and preparing its allies for a move into
  the Middle East!

Is the evil empire thinking about a Nuclear
assault? Judging from Russias motivation to
reduce Americas fortress position in the Middle
East, and its strategy in arming a nuclear Iran,
Russia is obviously readying herself for the
Ezekiel invasion!

The Genius of Asymmetrical Warfare

• 'Asymmetrical warfare' is another name for
  stateless terrorism. (or secretly
  state-sponsored) In this model, Iran supplies
  weapons and funding to terrorist groups to
  conduct operations against enemies of Iran that
  can't be traced back to Tehran for retaliation.
  Using asymmetrical warfare and nuclear weapons,
  Iran could use sub-contracted sleeper cells to
  strike an enemy, anytime, anywhere, without fear
  of immediate retribution or retaliation. It is
  obvious that no non-nuclear state would ever dare
  to counter-attack a nuclear Iran, and that no
  nuclear state could diplomatically afford to risk
  a nuclear exchange without incontrovertible
  evidence that Iran was responsible.
• Asymmetrical warfare is also a client stratagem
  of Super-power wannabees! (Russia China) (US
  utilizes military companies)

Russia is HOOKED!

• Israel Intelligence officials say that the
  multiplying missile power of Iran, Syria and
  Hizbullah has reached the level of posing "the
  gravest threat in modern times to the very
  existence of the Jewish State." Israel is
  pleading with the United States for swift
  military action to "wipe out this triangle of
  peril." Iran's ballistic missiles, Syria's
  upgraded Scuds and Hizbullah's bulging arsenal of
  short-range missiles in south Lebanon have
  rendered Israel vulnerable to the gravest peril
  it has ever faced. Joint action by Israel and the
  US is imperative.
• Current estimates by the IDF are that Iran will
  produce a functioning nuclear weapon in two to
  three years. It is Iran's ideology of hatred that
  disturbs Israeli intelligence circles. According
  to diplomatic sources in Jerusalem, the wildcard
  in Iran's nuclear gambit is Russia.

co-operate to prevent what he called threats from
domineering powers, a reference to the US.)

concerned about the presence of the US in Central
Asia.

Caspian Sea Central Asia Energy Resources for
EU, or Russia?
The new Caspian Sea oil pipeline, (2005) which
crosses Turkey from Baku to Ceyhan on the
Mediterranean Coast, is intended to lessen the
West from its reliance on Middle Eastern oil.
This pipeline may prove to be a factor in the
rise of the Russian-Iranian led invasion of
Israel, and also to counter the moves of the
Antichrist in the region, as described by the
prophet Ezekiel. The Caspian Sea oil basins
reside in an area formerly occupied by the Soviet
Union. The Caspian Sea pipeline is the oil flow
that is meant to save the West, and insure that
the instability and competition for Arab oil does
not obstruct the West from enjoying its
superpower status.

• Located over one thousand miles due north of
  Jerusalem, Moscow continues to recover from its
  humiliating loss of superpower status in the
  early 1989. The man leading the forward charge is

  Russia, its attention has been diverted from its
