TDR2 Status

• TDR2 QM1 is ready and tested
• OK for QM2 production was given to CSIST in
  October, Gerber files etc. transferred
• Missing pieces
• Drawings for Frontpanel, Fixation for Connectors,
  Assembly Note (ready by Dec-5)
• Preprogrammed Actels (ready by Dec-17)

TBP Status

• TBP QM1 is ready
• Gerber Files (and PCAD) on CAEN FTP
• Backplane is not yet fully tested!
• waiting for TBS and TPSFE QM1 to do complete
  functional test

TBP - Related Issues

• Removal of USCM's requires redesign of Backplane
  for QM2 (_at_ CSIST if possible)? Decision after
  weight-discussion in Jan 2004
• First ESS/EMI/TVT will be done with unmodified
  TBP QM1
• Modified TBP (QM2) should be retested later

Tests of TDR2 QM1 - Done _at_ Geneva

• 6 QM1 prototype in our hands
• Tests of Solid State Fuse/Consumption (all 7)
• Functional Tests via AMSwire (all 7)
• 2 Testbeams (_at_CERN/_at_GSI) (3 boards)
• Test of TAS with W. Wallraff (3 boards)
• Tests in TBP with JINF (Andrei/Vladimir) (2
  prototype)
• 1 board in Mechanical Workshop for Frontpanel
• No Problems observed, all tests passed!

• Test of Voltages/Consumption/SSF
• Functional Tests of CDP and analog Frontend(also
  in a thermal chamber for ESS)
• Results are stored via HTML-Interfaceinto
  Database (under Preparation)

• Oscilloscope, Multimeter (if possible with
  serial connection)
• 2 Computers with Linux/Windows (in english)
• EPP/CANbox with 5 AMSWire cables
• evtl. NIM-Crate to provide Trigger/simple logic
• Geneva provides
• Minibackplane with Powersupply
• Equipment to test SSF (Load/Probe)
• Hybrids with Cables and dummy loads to test

Tests of TDR2/T-Crate QM2 - Manpower

• Eduardo Cortina and Daniel Haas will come to
  CSIST for ALL Tests of TDR2/T-Crate
• please announce us in time when TDR2 will be
  ready, so we can plan the travel
• T-Crate tests _at_ CSIST and NSPO should be
  performed in same time-window if possible
• Person from Accademia Sinica should assist QM2
  tests to get trained for FM production (E.
  Cortina/D. Haas will be _at_ CSIST, but not together)

Conclusions

• TDR2 is ready for QM2 production
• TBP QM1 is waiting for TBS/TPSFE to finish tests
  and give OK for QM2
• Modifications of TBP to discuss in Jan 2004
• E. Cortina/D. Haas will take care of QM2 tests
  and will be present _at_ CSIST/NSPO
• T-Crate tests/documents are under preparation
