Title: The Argument For Networking Over Cold Calling

1
The Argument for Networking over Cold Calling
It has been argued that when it comes to getting
more business, there are only two things that can
be done more call calls or getting online.
Unfortunately, most sales managers tend to push
cold calls because they can be easily controlled
and measured. Equation to Calls is Easy Many
cold calls divided by sales made are equal to the
number of call calls required to make a sale.
Networking is not that easy to measure, but it
can be more productive for salespeople. The
argument for networking is straightforward. You
do not get paid for every sales call they make
they get paid for every sale they make. So unless
a business is willing to pay for every call made,
and not every sale, salespeople need to be able
to do what works. As long as networks generate as
many sales as call for more info visit

However, being a networker does not let the
marketer get away with it. What most people will
find is that networking can initially be more
work than call calling. In the long run, however,
it will be much more productive than call
calling. After all, cold calls have a lifespan of
five minutes. When you call a cold company with
your offer and the called company does not bite,
the call is forgotten. Even if the company needs
what was offered the next day, the caller is
forgotten. The company that wants the product or
service will look for another company that can
provide it. With networking, a company may not
want the product or service right now, but it
will be remembered the next time it is needed.
Therefore, networking is more efficient in the
long run. It has a future and a long life. A
salesperson who is actually working on building a
network gets easier business. A network causes
companies to call the seller and not the other
way around. To help sales grow, there is several
business networking groups available to help a
business move forward. Visit for more
information. Another starting point for
networking opportunities is trade fairs. There is
a list of trade shows for small businesses that
want to get the government and business type
Fortune 500. It would be advisable to staff these
events to network with purchasing and hiring
officers.
