1Ulticon Builders A Donor and Partner of Mindanao
Indigenous Peoples Conference for Peace and
Development (MIPCPD) in its Adopt a Tribal
Community Campaign
2Ulticon Builders, Inc. (UBI) under the leadership
of Mr. Carlos Charlie Gonzalez of Davao City
supports the advocacies and goals of the Mindanao
Indigenous Peoples Conference for Peace and
Development (MIPCPD) which is to be a catalyst in
promoting peace, providing sustainable
livelihood, and to initiate and push for
construction and development projects that will
benefit our indigenous tribes and cultural
communities.
3What kind of an organization is MIPCPD and what
are their objectives for our local tribes?
Basically, MIPCPD was formally registered with
the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on
January 9, 2008 and was certified by the National
Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) Region XI
and the Department of Social Welfare and
Development (DSWD) Region XI, as partner IP
Organization in unity for peace and development.
4Meaning, MIPCPD works in support of our
government and aims to extend partnerships with
industry stakeholders in projects that will
benefit the aboriginal people of a certain
ancestral land territory as stated in Republic
Act 8371, which states the rights and welfare of
the ICCs/IPs, particularly their clamor on land
tenure security and the recognition of their
freedom to make choices under the rubric of human
rights and development.
5Hence, Ulticon Builders, Inc., in the presence of
MIPCPDs Executive Director Datu Bawan Tagaenod
and his team, has expressed its strong commitment
and full support to MIPCPDs Adopt a Tribal
Community (AATC) project in Tambobong, Baguio
District. UBI is honored to have been selected
as the principal contributor of this project
6Ulticon Builders, Inc. (UBI) seeks to help by
funding livelihood projects and construction
projects like the building of a multi-purpose gym
and school among others. It also serves as a
means to unify tribal communities and to provide
support to our lumad youths by educating them as
part of an effort to prevent them from being
lured into groups that promote corruption, bribe,
fraud and destabilization.
7Ulticon Builders, Inc. (UBI) is a constant
supporter of projects that promote peace,
community involvement, and unity across all
tribes and cultures all over the nation. As the
Adopt a Tribal Community project progresses more
will be posted about it in the coming months.
