What is cancer?

  • According to the Indian Council for Medical
    Research (ICMR)
  • 10 years ago - 2.5 of total number of cancer
    cases in India.
  • Today - 5.5 of total number of cancer cases in
    India.

  • Leukemia and lymphoma are the most common
    childhood cancers.
  • A high percentage is also afflicted by
    non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
