Graduation Instructions
  • Seniors who are not participating in the ceremony
    and rehearsals are still expected to attend
    school from 725 A.M. to 210 P.M. during the
    week of May 18 to May 22 and 800-1000am on May
    28. All students must have an approved early
    dismissal or absence note for any absence from
    school.

Graduation Instructions
  • Although participation in the graduation ceremony
    is voluntary, attendance at all senior meetings
    is mandatory. Be on time and stay the full time.
  • If a student experiences an emergency illness on
    the day of a scheduled practice, the students
    parent/guardian must call the office by 725 A.M.
    to explain the reason for the absence. The
    principal reserves the right to exclude from
    graduation any student missing a rehearsal.

Graduation Instructions
  • Cap and gowns are required attire for the
    Commencement Ceremony and the Farewell Assembly.
  • Seniors should wear their caps straight on their
    heads with the deep part at the back and the
    tassel over the left temple.
  • Some of the caps will not fit easily with all
    present hair fashions hair fashions should be
    adjusted accordingly.

Graduation Instructions
  • Females should wear an all white or light pastel
    dress without patterns, light shade stockings,
    and white dress shoes. Avoid large earrings and
    bracelets.
  • Males should wear white or light colored shirts
    with a collar, dark background neckties, dark
    pants, dark socks, and dark shoes. No sneakers,
    tennis shoes, boots, sandals, or other such
    footwear will be allowed. All shirts are to be
    buttoned and collars worn inside the gown.

Graduation Instructions
  • No informal footwear will be permitted.
  • When you receive your son or daughters cap and
    gown, hang it up! Wrinkles can be removed by
    hanging the gown in the bathroom where the steam
    will smooth the material or by careful ironing.

Graduation Instructions
  • During the ceremony, seniors should walk briskly
    when crossing the stage and maintain a straight
    posture with heads up.
  • Maintain spacing of 6 to 8 feet while walking.
  • Stand during the National Anthem. Gentlemen
    remove caps.

Graduation Instructions
  • Each graduate will receive 6 graduation tickets.
    If extra tickets are needed, the student must
    submit a Request for Additional Tickets form
    (available in the front office). The form must
    include a justification for the number of extra
    tickets requested and must by signed by a parent
    or guardian. Forms are due to Ms. Moore,
    Graduation Coordinator by May 8, 2009.
  • Forms are available in the front office and room
    202.
  • Seniors will receive tickets on Friday, May 22nd
    at the end of the day.
  • All obligations must be fulfilled in order for
    Seniors to receive their tickets.
