Identification

• All teachers are trained in the characteristics
  of gifted learners and the nomination process.
• The Curriculum Department solicits nominations
  three times/year.
• Students are first eligible for nomination at the
  end of third grade for fourth grade placement.
• They may be nominated by teachers,
  administrators, parents, or the students
  themselves.
• STAR- CST ELA and/or Math test scores
