One of The Most Isolated Cities in the

• Results
• Living in Currie Hall was amazing
• Took 2 Anthropology classes 2 Animal Science
  classes
• Met locals by just talking, taking the extra
  effort to get to know them
• Some Aussie guys were sarcastic but easy-going
  funny Aussie girls were really nice
• In spare time I hung out with Aussie friends
  traveled a little
• I discovered a world around me that I never knew
  
• I noticed the simple, finer things in life that
  some people take for granted
• I learned that if you take the time your
  friendships overseas will last
• I was displeased with the dorm food
• I was worried about making good grades having
  enough money to travel
• I am reminded of my Aussie friends when I listen
  to certain music, hear certain words, enjoy
  nature

• Conclusion
• I would recommend this program to anyone
• If I could do it again, Id do it in a heartbeat
• I would recommend this to fellow students
  because this is the chance of a lifetime you
  will never get this same experience outside of
  college
• It surprised me how much time flew by when I was
  there the experience felt surreal!!
• Traveling with my friend across the country and
  meeting Aussies people of other nationalities
  meant so much to me
• My experiences affected me personally by
  creating bonds with people that I would never
  have met otherwise
• My experience made me consider doing my Vet Med
  studies or evening living and working in
  countries other than my own

• Objectives/Hypothesis
• I had been to Australia before so wanted to
  go back again
• UWA had Animal Sciences classes

• Materials and Methods
• Lots of paperwork, meetings, and patience
• Booked my own air travel through Travel Cuts
• Stereotypes were that there would be lots of
  surfers kangaroos everywhere
• Concerns were that Id run out of money time
  to have fun
• Anticipated just going abroad to meet new people
  go to new places
