right hand you now hold to be your lawful wedded
wife? To have and to hold from this day forward
according to Gods holy ordinances until death
you do part? Do you promise to love and honor
her? Do you promise to cherish her in sickness
and in health, for richer and for poorer, in good
times and in bad? Do you promise to be true to
her, forsaking all others for as long as you both
shall live? Do you promise to provide for her as
the Lord provides for the church? Do you promise
to obey your husband as the church obeys the
