Do you want to explore new worlds?
  • In a distant and second-hand set of dimensions,
in an astral plane that was never meant to fly,
the curling star-mists waver and part
  • See
  • From The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett

3
Do you believe in fairies?
  • With the moon already rising on the surface,
there was no time for a proper breakfast. Holly
grabbed the remains of a nettle smoothie from the
cooler and drank it in the tunnels. As usual
there was chaos in the main thoroughfare.
Airborne sprites jammed the avenue like stones in
a bottle. The gnomes werent helping either,
lumbering along with their big swinging behinds
    blocking two lanes.
  • From Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer

What about adventure?
  • Though nothing of the vault except the roof was
visible from where I lay, and so I could not see
the visitors, yet I could hear every word being
spoken, and soon made out one voice as being
Master Ratseys. This discovery gave me no
surprise but much solace, for I thought that if
the worst happened and I was discovered, I should
find one friend with whom I could plead for life.
  • From Moonfleet by J. Meade Falkner

Or do you want to know about real life?
  • Believe me, if youve been shut up for a year and
a half, it can get to be too much for you
sometimes. But feelings cant be ignored, no
matter how unjust and ungrateful they seem. I
long to ride a bike, dance, whistle, look at the
world, feel young and know that Im free, and yet
    I cant let it show.
  • Taken from The Diary of Anne Frank

What about the weird and wonderful?
  • Amazing Feats
  • HEAVIEST WEIGHT DANGLED FROM A SWALLOWED SWORD

non-retractable 40.5 cm (15.9 in) long sword and
then held a sack of potatoes weighing 20.1 kg (44
lb 4.96 oz) attached to the handle of the sword
for five seconds at the studios of Guinness World
