Shlok 31

• None shall never take any medicine, which
  contains alcohol or meat, or is prescribe by a
  doctor who is not known

• Shlok 15 explains NEVER eat meat even in a moment
  of extreme necessity nor drink alcohol
• In this shlok Maharaj says medicine which
  contains meat extract or alcohol should not be
  taken

• By asking your doctor or pharmacists they will
  give you medicine which is suitable for
  vegetarians

• It is not wise to take medicine from a doctor
  whose credentials are not known
• There are people who sell themselves as doctors
  but do not have a degree
• They only know about medicine because they have
  worked as assistants to certified doctors

• Our health is important to us, it helps us
  practise devotion to Lord
• If we are ill then we should take medicine BUT
  only which are suitable for us
