Shape, Space and Measures
  • Weight cooking with your child. Which shopping
    bag is heavier? Lighter? Heaviest? Lightest?
  • Shape shapes in the environment. Look for
    repeated patterns in walls, paving, wallpaper
    etc.
  • Measures which is longest? Shortest? Taller?
    Shorter? Measure with hands, feet, bricks as well
    as rulers and height charts.

  • To be able to count reliably a set of 10 objects
    or intangibles such as claps or hops.
