• In each of our Readers Workshop classrooms, we
  have created a place for readers to practice
  their craft.

Readers Workshop allows us to meet the challenge
of not only teaching our children HOW to read,
but also to fall in love with reading.

• In each classroom, you will find

labeled tubs brimming with color-coded leveled
books,
a storage drawer to house each childs self -
selected leveled books for the week,

sturdy canvas book bags to transport cherished
books home to read and enjoy each night,

and, of course, hundreds of fiction and
non-fiction books!

Having the opportunity to immerse even the
youngest readers in real reading from the start
and the necessary resources to do so effectively
is amazing.

Because of the generosity of the
Carroll Education Foundation
and Park Place Lexus, our Kindergarten team has
embarked on an exciting adventure with our
children that fortunately, will last a
lifetime.
