    GPS-Approaches in 10/98 Trial Lufthansa,
    Eurowings, Condor ----gt first unrestricted Ops
    Approval in 06/98 for Lufthansa A-320fam
    fleet
  • Since 10/00 GPS - SID trial at 3 German
    airports---gt Münster, Paderborn, Dortmund

Conclusions - Goals
  • Redesign of applicable procedures in the view of
    updated RNAV - Knowledge---gt ammended ICAO PANS
    OPS
  • Optimized procedures in terms of mileage, flow
    optimization, safety, environmental benefits,
    human factor issues
  • State authorities have to catch up in terms of
    timely and usable regulations and procedures

---gt this is the only way to CASH IN the
possible benefits
