2- Positioning the Soft Top
- Note - The soft top kit consists of the soft top
itself and 5 pieces of adhesive backed velcro
patches please check to make sure you have all
5 pieces. - Note If you have a Seizmik windshield kit, you
must remove the windshield before installing the
soft top. - Remove the taillight from the rear roll cage
before installing the soft top. See figure 1. - Tilt and lock the dump bed in its dumping
position. - Drape the soft top over the roll cage carefully
making sure the top is centered. See figure 2. - Be sure that ALL Velcro flaps and straps are
fully open and separated. See figure 3. - Note The 5 velcro patches are required for the
soft top to fit tightly and must be applied to
the upper front portion of the roll cage.
Continue with pt.5 to locate the points on the
roll cage where the velcro patches must be
adhered to. - Applying the Velcro Patches
- Join the 5 velcro patches to their corresponding
velcro surfaces on the lower front soft top
flaps. See figure 3 The white strips represent
the backs of the velcro patches joined to the
lower front soft top flaps. - Make sure the top is positioned so the front
panel with the Seizmik logo is positioned as in
figure 4. - Pull the lower flaps around the bottom of the
roll cage bar and the adhesive backed velcro
patch will show the location it is to be adhered
onto the roll cage. See figure 5.

3- Securing the front flaps
- Once the locations have been established, clean
the roll cage surface with alcohol to ensure a
strong bond. See figure 6. - Starting with the center piece, (longest velcro)
Peel off the backing and adhere the velcro patch
to its designated location. See figure 7. - Press firmly on each patch for 10 seconds to
ensure a strong bond. - Wrap each of the lower flaps around the front
roll cage bar joining all the velcro surfaces.
See figures 8 thru 9. -
- Warning Do not pull the flaps too tightly as
they may tear. - Securing the Side Flaps
- Pull the rear panel of the soft top down tightly
so it fits over the roll cage well. - Pull out the side flaps and wrap them around the
vertical roll cage bars. See figures 10-12. - Secure the velcro flaps adjusting the left and
right sides to ensure the top is centered well.

4- Securing the side flaps
- There are two double sided velcro straps along
the bottom sides of the soft top. See figure 13. - Wrap them around the vertical roll cage bar just
under the arm rest bar. See figure 14. - Once the strap is secured, the bottom corner of
the soft top secures over the velcro straps to
cover them. See figure 15. - Secure the velcro straps around the inner round
roll cage bars by the headrests. See figure
16-17. - Warning Do not pull the straps too tightly as
they may tear!

5- Securing the back roof straps
- Run the 2 velcro straps in the back top corners
of the soft top down behind roll cage bar, then
under and around the headrest cushion bar. See
figure 18. - Wrap them back over onto themselves and secure
the straps as in figure 19. - Secure the bottom center velcro strap around the
bar behind the engine cover between the seats in
the cabin. See figure 20. - Secure the center strap of the soft top as in
figure 21. - Warning Do not pull the straps too tightly as
they may tear! - Cutting tail light mounting holes in rear window
- Use sharp tipped razor to cut the mounting hole
locations for the tail light in the rear window
make sure the soft roof is on tight! See figure
22. - Carefully reconnect the wire leads and mount the
rear tail light using the OEM hardware. See
figure 23.

6- Rear window sunroof operation
- Release the velcro seal and unzip the rear
window. - Roll up the rear window towards the top of the
vehicle. See figure 24. - Simply secure the rolled up rear window panel
with the velcro straps in the roof. See figure
25. - Separate the velcro sunroof shade panel from the
inside of the roof and roll forward. See figure
26. - Once rolled completely forward, tuck into place
over the front roll cage bar. See figure 27. - Integrating with a Seizmik Windshield
- (Sold Separately)
- The Seizmik soft top comes with a long thin extra
strip of velcro for the Seizmik windshield (Sold
separately). - Simply adhere the long velcro strip along the top
center edge of the windshield and use the smaller
strips to run along the curved edges. See figure
28. - The front flap of the soft top secures to the
velcro along the top of the windshield to ensure
a good seal. See figure 29. - Tip
- Be sure to clean the edges of the windshield
with alcohol before adhering the velcro to ensure
a strong bond. -
- Press velcro firmly for 10 seconds to ensure a
strong bond.
