  • A noun is a word that names a person, animal,
    thing, event or concept
  • and in Spanish all nouns have a gender.
  • They are either masculine (masculino) and they
    end in -o or
  • feminine (femenino) and they end in a.
  • Most nouns that refer to male people or male
    animals are masculine. Most nouns that refer to
    female people or female animals are feminine
