• There is no such thing as religion, only
  thousands of
• different religious beliefs.

• In most countries of the world religion, culture,
  national
• identity etc are completely inter-twined, making
  it difficult
• to dissect out the components.

3. The reasons for atrocities, genocides and wars
are many and varied, but atheism does correlate
with rather a lot of them.
4. Many good human activities like science and
sex have contributed and do contribute to great
evils, but we do not for that reason give up on
them.
5. On average religious belief is rather good for
you.
