Title: Current State and Prospects of Development for Ukrainian Economy
1Current State and Prospects of Development for
Ukrainian Economy
Comments by Mr. V.Pershin, First Deputy Minister
of Economy and European Integration Warsaw,20
November 2003
2Ukraine Should Become an Inalienable Part of a
Unified Europe
- the course at European integration is a natural
aftermath of Ukraine's national independence. It
crystallizes from the history of our nation, its
mentality and democratic traditions, from
striving of today's generation to see their state
as an inalienable part of Europe. The European
choice of Ukraine is at the same time a movement
to the standards of real democracy, informational
society, socially oriented market economics,
based on the fundamentals of the rule of law and
provision of human and citizen's rights and
freedoms. - L.Kuchma, President of Ukraine
