PROCEDURE of  building confinement 
The DPA has elaborated for its agents a set of
instructions related to the policy adapted in
case a flood of River Seine. These instructions
identify in particular precise gathering sites
for every department involved, as well as
communication methods between decentralized units
and the emergency committee. modalités de

DPA plans to secure flooded buildings as well as
those without power supply. In order to make
this task easier, o procedure of building
confinement has been elaborated.

building will be flooded in case a flood lower
than 1910.

Better prepare the AFTER-CRISIS
For new buildings or major restructurations,
specific technical standards aiming at limiting
the vulnerability of the buildings are applied.
  • Removable power distribution units
  • Electrical networks located as high as possible
  • Non floodable boiler rooms
  • Canteens equiped with movable equipment..
