  • Rainforests are located in South America, India,
    Asia, Africa, and Brazil.
  • The rainforest once covered 14 the earth, now it
    covers 6.
  • The Amazon Rainforest is called the lungs of the
    our planet.
  • In the rainforest there are 750 types of trees
    and 1500 species of higher plants.
  • The average rainfall is 100 a year.

  • Anteaters live in deciduous forest, grasslands,
    and rainforests in Central and South America.
  • Anteaters have a 3- 4 feet long torso, a bushy
    tall that can be as long as the torso, a long
    tube-like head , and a small black mouth that is
    used to eat ants and termites.
  • Anteaters eat ants and termites.
  • Anteaters enemies are pumas and jaguars.
  • Anteaters grow to 6-8 feet long.

    Some animals they attack deer, mice, capybaras,
    and turtles.
  • After two years a baby jaguar leaves its mother.

    oxygen.
  • Every minute 60 acres of rainforest are being
    cut down.
  • After trees are cut the soil gets loose and could
    turn to a desert.
  • 50 million acres of rainforest are being cut
    every year.
