• Districts at different stages on the PD continuum
• Wide diversity of districts in Idaho, each with
  different hills to climb
• SBAC Summative assessment online in Spring
  2015-TIME!
• Last fall 75 of teachers surveyed reported a
  district implementation plan in place
• Evidence of effective implementation around the
  state
• Promising New Initiatives-Idaho Core Coaches
  embedded regionally

  training of Teacher Leaders in the big shifts in
  ELA/Literacy- building human capital
• Parallel Training for administrators to foster
  common language and understanding of the Idaho
  Core in the classroom
