Tornado ShelterThe Need

• Five mobile home parks, scores of homes, and
  dozens of businesses with no access to a tornado
  shelter
• Designated shelters inside Howard County
  government buildings are often not open to the
  public, especially evenings and weekends
• Walking distance to downtown and parking can be
  issues in a storm emergency
