  • Why do we do it?
  • Most students are taught that free markets are
    full of failures.
  • Economics professors indulge in technical details
rather than the implications and evidences.
  • Non-economics professors teaches only the
failures and shortcoming of the free market
    system.
  • CFE program emphasizes the importance of free
market principle, such as the self-help, economic
    freedom and property rights.

14
  • Results
  • It works
  • In the beginning, we were afraid that students
    avert from our program.
  • But, it turned out that their reactions were very
    favorable.
  • Result of the questionnaire survey
  • Does the capitalist economy makes the rich richer
    and the poor poorer?

Based on the Fall of 2005 Semester Program.
15
  • Limitation
  • Shortage of Lecturers due to the shortage of
    libertarian thinkers.
  • Differences in Views.
  • Shortage of Budgets.
  • Help Wanted
  • If you have a chance to travel Korea, let us know
in advance so that we can arrange a lecture in
    some colleges.

Thank You!
