Pathogens
Pathogens
  • The main pathogen for this disease is Ebola.
  • Ebola is transmitted by Sexual contact and
contact with blood or other body fluids.
  • Ebola has a capsid of a bent rod or candy cane.
  • The Ebola lives in the infected cells of your
body, thus, having it very difficult to treat
    this virus.

4
Transmission
  • The transmission has not really been discovered
yet but they have some theories on how it could
    spread.
  • When an infected person is in contact with an
uninfected person. By sneezing cause a little
    air born virus.
  • Contact with bodily fluids and sexual contact is
    another way to transmit.

5
Immune Response
  • The main problem with this disease is the severe
bleeding abnormalities. Leaving the person with
    no help against the disease.
  • A majority of the blood is lost due to this
    untreated disease.
  • You will find that the body will have one single
rash all over it that hemorrhagic.

    need intensive care.

9
Current Research
  • They have researched the level of the Ebola
Hemorrhagic Virus and it is at level 4 compared
to the level 2 HIV and AIDS.
  • They are researching on a way to stop the
abnormal bleeding. And to treat the symptoms of
    Hemorrhagic Fever.
  • The main research is the cure for Hemorrhagic
    Fever.

10
Summary
  • I conclude that this certain viral infection is
very dangerous and that you need to be
    hospitalized quickly.
  • All the hospital can do is try to stop the
    abnormality of the bleeding.
  • Though Africa doesnt have as high technology as
