• New Pathways to Trauma Treatment II
• A Five Day Workshop with Bessel van der Kolk MD
• The intimate context of this workshop gives us
  an opportunity for much personal contact, some
  individual consultations and for the experiential
  exploration of trauma -focused techniques.
• I plan to provide an update on the most salient
  points coming out of neuroscience research as it
  applies to trauma treatment, but also
  explore, experientially, issues such as breathing
  and tapping for affect regulation dancing,
  rhythms and movement in creating safe spaces and
  social interactions the use of Internal Family
  Systems Therapy, of body-based psychodrama
  techniques, and EMDR at various stages of
  treatment, as well as explore the vast untapped
  possibilities of neurofeedback - a principal
  research activity in our Clinic these days, which
  promises to provide us with ways of literally
  re-wire the neural circuits in the brain to
  change attentional and perceptual systems.
• After all that work in a lovely setting there
  will be plenty of opportunities to sample
  Montepulciano wines, get healed in one of the
  local thermes, visit Firenze and take long walks
  through the Tuscan countryside in the Spring.
