Lets Look at it right away
  • Samson
  • As Samson and his parents were going to Timnah, a
    young lion attacked Samson in the vineyards on
    the outskirts of the town. At that moment the
    Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him and
    since he had no weapon, he ripped the lion's jaws
    apart and did it as easily as though it were a
    young goat! But he didn't tell his father or
    mother about it.

Samson had the Spirit of Might
  • Judges 1512-15 NASU
  • They said to him, "We have come down to bind you
    so that we may give you into the hands of the
    Philistines." And Samson said to them, "Swear to
    me that you will not kill me." So they said to
    him, "No, but we will bind you fast and give you
    into their hands yet surely we will not kill
    you."

    brought him up from the rock. When he came to
    Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him.
  • And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him
    mightily so that the ropes that were on his arms
    were as flax that is burned with fire, and his

    "Behold, a cloud as small as a man's hand is
    coming up from the sea.

    chariot and go down, so that the heavy shower
    does not stop you.'" In a little while the sky
    grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a
    heavy shower. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel.

The Holy Spirit Gives Might
