History

• Paraguay was first inhabited by the Guaraní

  with the Spaniards for centuries.

• May 17, 1811 Paraguay gains independence from
  Spain.

• Paraguayans are ruled by dictators for over a
  century and a half.

• 1990 Paraguay declares Democracy.
