Conclusion

• The number of people who are infected by eye
  allergy is on the rise with the serious air
  pollution in Hong Kong. Survey found that 73 of
  the respondents thought that air pollution
  worsened their eye allergy problem.
• A total of 35 of the respondents knew that
  rubbing their eyes would result in bacterial
  infections while the others also showed an
  understanding about the problems brought by
  rubbing eyes. Hence patients should resort the
  right remedy to eye allergy.
• Besides, nearly 60 of the respondents said eye
  allergy affected their work, with 83 of which
  saying their work efficiency reduced. While about
  two-fifth said their daily lives being affected
  as well. Eye allergy also has an impact on
  patients psychological state and thus it should
  not be neglected.
• Survey also found that quite a large number of
  respondents had little knowledge about the
  medical treatment. Patients should be aware of
  the correct treatment to deal with their eye
  allergy problems.
