  • Board will run a nightly program to approve
    completed applications that have been paid and do
    not have any criminal or disciplinary
    deficiencies.
  • Once approved, the newly licensed practitioner
    will receive an email prompting them to log onto
    Online Services at www.FLHealthsource.com to
    print their One-year license.

Registration Requirements
  • January 1 through December 31, 2010
  • Must complete a board-approved pharmacy
    technician training program or
  • Must complete 1500 hours pharmacy technician work
    experience under the supervision of a licensed
    pharmacist or
  • Must be certified by an agency accredited by the
    National Commission for Certifying Agencies.

Registration Requirements
  • After January 1, 2011
  • Must be 17 years of age
  • Complete an on-line application
  • Submit 105.00 application registration fee
  • Provide proof of completion of a board-approved
    pharmacy technician-training program

TAKE AWAY
  • All technicians must be registered prior to
    January 1, 2010 to be able to work.
  • Technicians have 1 year to meet 1 of the 3
    requirements for registration.
  • After January 1, 2011 in order to work as a
    technician, all applicants must complete a
    training program.
  • Registered pharmacy technician registrations will
    expire 12/31/12.
