Start by Drawing the End Elevation
Draw generators on the Plan and transfer
each of these to the Elevation and the End
Elevation.
Project the bottom point of each generator
from the Elevation across to the End Elevation to
complete the cylindrical detail.

Complete the End Elevation

• Complete the End Elevation by drawing a
  smooth curve through each of the points found and
  by projecting the remainder of the cylinder and
  base of the candle holder.

Draw the Development

• Project the top surface of the
  development and step out 12 generators along this
  line. The size should be measured from the
  generators on the Plan.
• Draw vertical generators through the
  points found.

Project the points from the End
Elevation onto the Development and indicate the
points for the curve with a small dot.
Complete the view by drawing a smooth line
through the points and adding the outlines of the
view.
