available thru the American FactFinder database,
available from the Census Bureau home page or
directly at factfinder.census.gov

and left menu items.

desired title from the Getting Detailed Data
section.
5SELECTED DATA SETS
- Decennial Census (Census of Population Housing)
for 1990 on - American Community Survey (ACS), 2000-
- Similar in content to Decennial Census and more
recent, but presently much more limited in
geographic coverage - Economic Census, 1997-
6Decennial Census Data Sets select tab for
desired year. Generally choose either Summary
File 1 or 3 depending on which description best
covers your topic. Then select Detailed Tables
to get complete data.
7Next select geography
1. Select from drop down box
2. Choose from the next box
3. Click on Add to add your choices to the
selections box
4. Click Remove if you change your
mind. When ready, click Next
8EXAMPLE Oxford, Ohio
9Next select tables by subject, keyword or by
viewing the list. Highlight desired tables and
click Add
10EXAMPLE Family Type Then click on Show

12Maps may also be displayed. Choose Maps from
the left menu, then type of map, such as
Reference Maps.
13Select type of map and geography. Tracts blocks
are small areas that subdivide cities counties.
Census data is available for these small areas.
14Map is displayed. You can zoom in or reposition
15Once a tract or block number is identified you
can use it when selecting geography in the data
tables. Some Oxford tracts blocks are shown
