• Objectives
• To provide a place and the opportunities for
  girls and young women to discuss issues together
  and to promote youth participation.

• Offer training opportunities. For example, annual
  training for members.
• Participate in decision-making bodies of the
  association. For example, deciding theme of the
  year.
• Establish good communication and cooperation
  between adults and youth. For example, regular
  meeting with commissioners.

• Promote the development of Guiding in Hong Kong.
  For example, advises on Programme and Badge
  Review.
• Arouse members concern to the society. For
  example, carrying out community service for the
  needy.
• Establish cooperative relationship with other
  youth organizations. For example, interflow camp
  with related organizations.

• Proposed structure
• Aged 15 to 30
• Executive committee, representatives from
  different regions/ divisions, to handle affairs
• 1 Advisor (to be acted by an adult)
• 1 Chairlady (to be elected by all executive
  committee members)
• 1 External Vice-chairlady, 1 Internal
  Vice-chairlady (to be appointed by the
  Chairlady)
• 5 committee members

• Proposed Structure
• At least 2 from each of the three regions
• At least 2 from each of the sections Guide,
  Ranger and Guider
• Term of office follows academic year, Sept to Aug
• Chairlady and 2 VCs serve the same position for
  at most 2 consecutive years

  confirmed
• Basic principle is by democratic way that
  representatives from different regions/ divisions
  and different sections can go into the committee
• Suggested way for first provisional committee is
  open up application and interview the applicant
  by commissioners
