What You Will Need

  • Internet Connection
  • WinZip or other program to Extract .tar Files

3
Information
  • WindFarm does not combine information into one
file, but instead refers to files. Once you save
a file and start using it as included with future
work, moving that file will cause other files to
    no longer work.
  • To fix this, make sure you plan a structure that
will allow you to never have to rearrange your
    files.
  • You will need DEM Maps. The available locations
are listed on the next few slides.
  • Some locations include neighboring towns. You
will have to find out which one contains your
area. When you convert these files in WindFarm,
you will be required to write down some data
these are GPS points it covers. If you know one
GPS point of the area you need you can quickly
see which location contains what your needed area.
