experience. He directed the Adult Orthopaedic
Spine Service for the Navy at San Diego and
subsequently Portsmouth Naval Hospital, which
were residency teaching programs from 1986 to
1994.

of Fellowship training in Comprehensive Adult
Spinal Reconstructive Surgery at the University
of California San Diego, a combined Orthopaedic
and Neurosurgical program, from 1985 to 1986.
