INTRODUCTION
We dont always appreciate what we have until
its gone - which can be quite an inconvenience
when its your engine! Looking after your
vehicles engine is crucial, and knowing how to
recognise potential problems can help prevent
future driving disasters! Here are a few common
symptoms of engine trouble

1. Warning lights
  • If your dashboard lights turn off automatically
    shortly after starting your engine, then all is
    well. If not, then there may be a problem. You
    should pay special attention to these warning
    lights
  • Oil pressure.
  • Battery charge.
  • Brake system warning light.
  • Engine warning light.

2. Jerking
Driving should be absolutely smooth and easy,
free from surging, jerking, or stalling. If your
car is moves in an unusual way while driving it
may indicate an engine problem. These problems
can include faulty spark plugs or clogged fuel
lines.

3. Rude noises
Certain sounds like a tapping or popping sounds
in your car can indicate tiny detonations taking
place within your engines cylinder. This can
result in expensive piston damages. Listen out
for these noises should they occur, it may be
that your car needs a service.
